SWANPRO AMPS has evolved from years of playing electric guitar, working on most of the amps that made Rock-n-Roll famous, and years of engineering experience in recording studios.

I had grown up through the 70's playing rock-n-roll in bands. I owned Marshall's and old Fenders during this time. When I got to the 80's, rack systems were in, but at the end of that decade I switched back to the some of the old amps. They didn't sound as good as I had remembered. Frustrated with my situation I decided to learn how to work on vintage and boutique tube amps. I went through old Marshall's, Fenders, Hiwatt and all the old Vox AC's. I've owned hundreds of these amps over time. But I still wanted something that I hadn't heard out of these amps, so I started to develop my own sound.

SWANPRO AMPS is the culmination of that journey. I have set out to provide products that have the vibe from the old days, with modern gain, definition and clarity! I've spent a lot of time shifting gain structure and frequency points and overall design to achieve the sound signature I was looking for. This has been accomplished with the "Recording Club Series". A friend of mine who has heard many of my amplifier designs once told me, No matter what amp he's heard, he always hears my signature in the amp. So I will always strive to keep that!

Recording studios have been a large part of my life over the past fifteen years and I wanted to have an amp that I could get great tones out of very quickly. Now with the RCS 20 or the new RCS 40, I simply plug in a guitar, put a favorite microphone in front of it, and we're ready to go!
